Despite that Germany is one of the greatest
countries in Europe with land borders to nine countries I have so far only one
enclave/exclave report (Büsingen) and one another border report from this
country. This second report is from the border at Rielasingen (D) and
Ramsen (CH).
Maybe the reason is that Germany for me so far is a transit
country, and the fact that many German land borders are situated along rivers
and therefore unfortunately not so interesting to me...
I have included a couple of links to a historical
border: Germany (DE) - Russia (RU) – pre-WWI – between today's Russia (ex
East Prussia - DE) and Lithuania (ex Russia - RU). At this border Russia
moved on the other side of the border.
