On this fictional island there are three
countries, Abastan, Bacania and Cabany. The border meeting point is
called a tripoint. Abastan has
an exclave surrounded by
Bacanian territory. This is at the same time a Bacanian enclave. Inside
the enclave there is a counter-enclave which is a Bacanian exclave and
an enclave inside the Abastanian exclave. These enclaves we call True
Enclaves. Lake Abacaba between Abastan and Cabany is shared between the
countries. This shared lake is then by international law regarded to be
a condominium. The territory of a country is consisting
from A) the land territory included lakes and rivers, and B) its
territorial waters, which usually make 12 nautical miles (vary from 0
to 200 nm) from the country's baseline.

agreement under international law
between at least two parties (usually
bordering states and/or their colonizers
et cetera) that neither shall establish,
at least for the duration of the
agreement's validity, effective control
over it.
On this site country names are coded according to ISO 3166; instead of
Austria we write "AT"; instead of Italy we use "IT" etc. The
border between Austria and Italy is therefore called "ATIT".
