the Latvian side and marker 0012 to right.
Būtingė
border post in 1924. Photographed from Lithuania towards Latvia. In
the background we see the Latvian turnpike and a pole (painted in red
and white). In the right part of the picture we can see a pole fundament
painted the Lithuanian colours (yellow, green and red). The officer and
the two women probably stands more or less on the boundary line, but
slightly inside Lithuania. (Source: ebay.de.)
