During the negotiations between
Byelorussia and Lithuania in the middle of the 1990s, the Lithuanian
side suggested a 200 metre corridor to Pagiriai (as image above)
in order to join the enclave/exclave with Lithuania proper. The
Byelorussian side rejected this idea, and instead the enclave was
dissolved.
