At the time being we know nine
European areas with true exclaves and enclaves. The most interesting area is perhaps the town of Baarle,
with a big number of big and small enclaves and counter-enclaves. Another
interesting is the Vennbahn creating five exclaves at the border between
Belgium and Germany.
