The southern Lithuanian - Polish crossing point for cars was opened for traffic in the early 1990s.
The boundary point is visible to the left of the red minibus. The boundary is going from that point over the road to the point from where this picture is taken.
In the middle of the picture a Polish border police post.

On this picture my daughter is standing virtually on the borderline.
