Medininkai Border Crossing is located only 25 km. east of the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. The station is already fully completing the requirements of the European Union. At the very moment a person is being registered by the passport control here all international Lithuanian border stations have access to this entry. So far there is no border fence here, but instead other ways of detection are implemented as the sand strip, which is located on Lithuanian territory.
