Access to the tripoint from Lithuanian side

The photo shows our GPS tracks and points from our visit on 8 July 2002.
The Lithuanian - Russian border still did not excist, only an administration line which was not clearly marked south of the boundary fence.

From point 217 till the tripoint we were walking east of the Russian observation line inside a very dense brush. This way seems to be the only way from Lithuanian side leading to the tripoint, except following the LTPL boundary line from east.

The position of LTPLRU (TP9) is 54° 21' 47,8" N 22° 47' 31,2"E. The tripoint is 231 meters above sea-level.
