The Lithuanian name in 1927, Ilzenbergo ežeras, is now
replaced with Ilgės ežeras. The old Latvian name, Ilzes ezers, is now Ilzu
ezers.

Comparing the 1927 (above) and 2000 border maps one can
see that the 2000 lake border line is more straight. The river outlet is
now not straight as in 1927, but S-shaped.
The
