boundary markers no. 0932 and 0931 towards Lithuanian side.
Position:
56° 18' 37"N 24° 01' 26" E (WGS84).
Same
crossing point towards northeast and Latvia.
This
1933 photo was found on 8 Nov 2003 while dismantling the roof of
Draseikiai Elementary School. Person number three from right is the priest Kurlianskis
and the fourth is maybe Juozas Čekauskas. The border marker is the
Lithuanian pre-war type with the Columns of Gedimanas on the top and the
relief of Vytis on the side. Source: Europeana.
